Industriprodukter, as data controller, is committed to protecting your personal privacy. The purpose of this policy is to inform you about how we process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation. This policy applies to all data collected in connection with customer inquiries, orders, and purchases made with us, as well as for contact persons at suppliers.
Personal data processed
We process personal data that you have provided to us when you make an inquiry or a purchase. We process as little personal data as possible and are particularly restrictive regarding sensitive personal data. Industriprodukter primarily does business with other companies, giving us a very small need for personal data from customers and suppliers. Examples of personal data that we process include name, company name, company contact details such as telephone number and email address.
Legal basis
Industriprodukter processes personal data in accordance with applicable legislation, primarily to fulfill our agreements and commitments to customers, suppliers, and authorities, and when we have a legitimate and justifiable interest. Personal data about our customers is used to ensure good service in deliveries, follow-up, and information, as well as for certain marketing. Everyone has the right to object to us using personal data for direct marketing. When we collect personal data, we provide information about this and how to object to it. Personal data concerning our suppliers is primarily used for purchasing and price inquiries.
Personal data is mainly processed internally within Industrial Products, but certain information is processed by external parties (so-called data processors). This applies, for example, to billing systems, and we have confidentiality agreements in place for these that regulate the processing.
Storage of personal data
Industrial products save personal data for as short a time as possible, but for as long as is necessary to fulfill our commitments or as long as required by statutory storage periods.
Personal data is stored in our business system and contact lists. Storage occurs in both digital and paper formats. Industriprodukter has routines for handling personal data that ensure only those who need to handle the data have access to it, and that storage is done securely.
Questions and complaints
You have the right to receive information about what personal data is stored about you and to correct any inaccurate data. You may also have your data deleted, provided there are no legal grounds preventing Industriprodukter from doing so, for example, due to accounting laws. You also have the option to exercise your right to data portability, withdraw consent for certain processing (where consent has been obtained), or object to the processing of personal data.
